From The Runway to Real Life: Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2016 Runway Hair and Makeup
Paradise is calling! To complete our Tommy Hilfiger NYFW Spring 2016 coverage, we're sharing how you can recreate the hair and makeup look straight from the experts.
For the island glow Tommy Hilfiger looked to Pat McGrath, one of the most influential makeup artists in the industry.
"Our look this season is inspired by the last days of summer, a beautiful rock-and-roll girl who's living a relaxed life in Mustique," says McGrath. "The look is free-spirited and fresh, with bronzed cheeks, highlighted skin, groomed eyebrows and lots of mascara on the top and bottom lashes."
No island beauty look is complete without beachy waves and innovative hairstylist Eugene Souleiman ensured all the girls were runway ready.
"Our inspiration for hair comes from the end of a beautiful summer in the Caribbean, maybe Mustique - super cool and natural," say Souleiman. "To give it a slightly bohemian feel, we've added a thin braid that looks like the girls could have done it on their own at the beach, it's cute and spontaneous."
